The Japanese sculptor Hideki Iinuma is known for his finely carved wooden figures, inspired by haute couture, pop culture, and art history. Fashion, identity, and emotion are transformed in his works into poetic snapshots of inner attitudes.
On Friday, 22nd August 2025, from 4:30 PM, you’ll have the rare opportunity to work directly with the artist. As part of an exclusive workshop, Hideki Iinuma invites participants to carve and paint their own wooden figures under his guidance. Whether with or without prior experience – the creative process is the focus. All materials and tools will be provided, and each participant may take their finished piece home.
