Dining at vigilius means nourishment for the body and soul, and clean food prepared lovingly from quality ingredients. It may sound simple, but for us, it’s an act of devotion. We dedicate ourselves to the natural flavors of the produce we use, some of which are made exclusively for us by local producers. Restaurant 1500

The essentials. Sometimes they’re in the distance. Sometimes right in front of you. In Restaurant 1500, we unite the essentials and soar to new heights. Here, an architecture of clean lines and natural materials meets an impressive panoramic view of Lana, in the heart of the Mediterranean-alpine Merano region. Outstanding dishes meet the finest tipples. Enjoy a view that lives long in the memory, equally stunning in the evening or the early morning as you enjoy a rich breakfast. Our recipe for powerful memories? Fresh, natural, and regional ingredients, the view of the Dolomites, peaceful forests, and the particular way the light falls in the valley. The main ingredient: the uniqueness of South Tyrol. The result: enrichment.

Tasting menu
Get on a culinary journey with the 9-course tasting menu, created by Chef Daniel Sanin. Available from Thursday to Saturday. Reservation is required at least one day in advance.

Start fresh into the day - Enjoy a rich breakfast for 40 Euro per person at our bathed in sunlight panoramic restaurant from 7:30 am to 10:30 am
Arrival
Despite the usual opening hours. The cable car leaves every hour from 18:00 pm - 23:00 pm as well as at 22:30 pm.

The aperitif at the Piazza (from 18:30 pm to 19:30 pm) and the ticket for the cable car are inclusive.
