Arrival per cable car

The vigilius mountain resort is located at an altitude of 1500 meters and is accessible by the new Vigiljoch cable car. The covered hotel garage at the valley station, can be found at the following address:

New from July 2025: An automatic barrier will grant you access to the parking area. Simply follow the signs at the base station of the Vigiljoch cable car to the vigilius parking area – as our guest, parking is free of charge. Please provide us with your license plate number before your arrival.

Arrival by plane or train

Skyalps offers you a comfortable journey to Bolzano.

The airline flys from Antwerp, Billund, Copenhagen, and London.

Other airports in the area are Verona, Venice, Milan (Italy), Innsbruck (Austria) and Munich (Germany).

The nearest train stations are in Lana (4 km) or Merano (10 km), from where regional trains run. Express trains reach Bolzano station (30 km).

Arrival & parking

The vigilius can only be reached by cable car. The route described above leads to the valley station of the Lana-Vigiljoch cable car. You can park your car free of charge in the vigilius parking garage. There are unscheduled rides for our guests at: 7 am, 8 am, 8.30 am, 6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm, 10.30 pm, and 11 pm. Rides before 7 am and after 11 pm are available upon request and subject to an additional fee.

Luggage and cable car tickets

Luggage trolleys are available on the left side of the vigilius garage. You can pick up your tickets at the cable car counter, the staff are informed about your arrival. If you arrive outside the cable car opening hours, you will receive your tickets at the mountain station.

Transfer service

We are happy to assist you in booking transfers from the train station or airport to the cable car station. Please inform our reception team in advance.

E-charging stations

Our electric charging stations are located at the beginning of the parking garage and can be used with your own charging card for a fee. To avoid unnecessary parking fees, we kindly ask you to regularly check the charging status and unplug the cable once your car is fully charged. If you prefer, we are happy to take care of this for you.
Please reserve a parking spot for your electric vehicle in advance.

Sa, Sun & holidays: 8.30 pm – 6 pm

Additional cable car rides for our guests:
At 7 am, 8 am, 8.30 am, 6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm, 10.30 pm, and 11 pm. Rides before 7 am and after 11 pm are available upon request and subject to an additional fee.

Muzzles are required for dogs on the cable car.
Mountain bikes can also be transported by cable car.
