Workshop and Live Performance with Hideki Iinuma

Workshop and Live Performance with Hideki Iinuma
11–13 June 2026

With Hideki Inuma, vigilius becomes an open studio for a few days.

Two-part workshops offer insight into his working process, while an accompanying exhibition presents works in different stages of development — from raw wood to the finished sculpture.

The program culminates in a live performance on Saturday, where the creative process itself becomes the experience — guided by the rhythm of music, visible through glass and within the space at the same time.

Live Performance – Process as Artwork

Saturday, 13 June 2026 | from 6:30 pm

This live performance makes the sculptural process tangible as an open, temporal sequence. Along the glass façade of the library, four stages of creation unfold in parallel — from raw wood to finely shaped form.

Guided by the rhythm of the music, Hideki moves from table to table, continuing the work. Sound, movement, and material enter into dialogue. The space becomes a stage; the process itself becomes the artwork.

Visible from the Piazza through the glass and experienced directly within the room, the performance creates an hour in which time, body, and form converge.

Free admission | Registration required
